$175

Click here for additional class details.

Please bring a lunch, a journal, a water bottle and a pair of slippers.

Reiki 1 (Shoden) is an introduction to Reiki.  It is the first step in learning Reiki and is all about self treatment and healing though level 1 practitioners can also work on family and friends.  This is the most critical step in learning Reiki.  Once you have received Reiki, the ability to use it never goes away.  Many people are content to operate at this level for the rest of their lives.  Cost of class is $175. and includes William Lee Rand’s detailed level 1&2 book.

To sign up for this class and hold your spot, please send a payment via email transfer to pam@hiddenbrook.ca along with your mailing address and contact information so I can mail your manual to you and you can begin learning about Reiki and so that you are well prepared for class.  If you wish to sign up for both Reiki levels 1&2 (held the next day) please send $400.  When Reiki 1&2 are taken together, it creates a very powerful effect.  You can also send a downpayment of $200 to receive your manual and hold your space in both classes.

You can also contact me with your Visa or Mastercard number, mail a check, bring cash or pay with PayPal here:  Preview Image

Generally, once you sign up for the class – and especially once you pay, your energy starts to shift to get ready to move to a higher frequency so if you experience brief health issues or discomfort, please be aware that it is your body shifting.

What do our students say about our Reiki classes?

“Reiki classes with Pam are simply magical. Everything flows well and she is a very effective and intuitive teacher. I’ve learned so much about Reiki, myself, and life in general during these courses and am so thankful for her knowledge and guidance.” Lisa – my first Reiki level 1 student and now a Holy Fire II Karuna Reiki Master
“After 5 years of soul searching and self-healing, I finally decided to make the 1,400km trip from Ontario to get my Level 1 Holy Fire Reiki at Hidden Brook Farm with Pam Allen-LeBlanc and my 6 year-old rescue dog, Chloe. Little did I know what a positive, and truly life-changing experience this would be. Upon arrival, I was quite nervous. I knew I had a lot of emotional scarring that had potential to resurface. However, Pam picked up on that without my explanation and calmed me down without words. As for Chloe, she would generally be easily distracted by horses, other dogs, cats, and chickens; however, the energy on the farm gave Chloe a clear message as to why she was there, and she was able to calm down and join us for the class as well. Through the beginning meditations, I could feel physical shifting beginning in my core as I was able to let go of some pretty heavy stuff with ease. Later, for weeks after the placement, this shifting would continue to work it’s way through my body, mind, and spirit. It was equally incredible to watch Chloe begin to shift, and her energy completely re-channel. After my Holy Fire placement, I couldn’t help but get emotional, I could feel positive change coming from deep within. And to look at my little dog, and see such pride “hey mom, isn’t this cool?! We can help each other now!!” Holy Fire Reiki is an incredibly powerful thing, and I left the farm feeling 100% educated and prepared to take on the journey it would bring. Pam is an amazing teacher, Hidden Brook Farm is an amazing environment, and combined they provide the perfect place to embark on new spiritual journeys. There is nowhere else I would rather study Reiki, even if it is a 14 hour drive!”  Maddi – an Usui/Holy Fire II Reiki level 1 student

Before you attend a class:

Please bring a journal to the class.  Something nice and new – that you like writing in if you wish to signify a new beginning with a new journal.  Reiki works in such a wonderful but gentle way that although it changes your life a day at a time, it’s a great idea to chart your progress and to begin with the class.  Please also bring a bottle of water- it’s important to stay well hydrated throughout the day.

Fruit, herbal teas and fresh water will be available throughout the day.  As energies shift, we tend to be really hungry – and thirsty!

In the original Reiki ideals, Dr. Usui says that Reiki is “The secret art of inviting happiness” and “The miraculous medicine of all diseases”.  It is known as a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.  It was discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900’s.  Reiki combines Rei or Spiritual Wisdom with Ki or Life Energy – with some amazing results.  Reiki can never cause harm.  It never depletes your energy.  Anyone can learn it.  And once you have been attuned, whether you choose to use it or not, it will be with you for the rest of your life.

Reiki is not taught in the way other healing techniques  are taught.  The ability is transferred to the student by the Reiki Master during a placement process.  During the placement, the Rei or God Consciousness makes adjustments in the student’s chakras and energy pathways and links the student to the Reiki source.  A placement is very powerful energetically, and from the moment you sign up for this class, your energy will start to shift and move toward this higher frequency.  Sometimes, when this happens, the shift can be uncomfortable and we can even become physically ill prior to the class as the body begins to shift and shed illness and energy that it no longer needs so it can move to the higher, healing frequency.  Please do your best to get to that first class anyway.  You will find that the illness is short lived.  And the Reiki class and placement experience are well worth it!

You can do a few things to help the placement go “deeper” into your consciousness if you wish.  This is not necessary – but does facilitate a more powerful placement if you choose to observe the guidelines.  Take 2-3 days prior to the class as a technology free time if possible.  Refrain from computer and TV use and do not listen to the news or read the newspaper.  If you can, eat whole foods and eliminate caffeine and alcohol too.  And if you really want to detox prior to the weekend, Mrs. Takata (who brought Reiki to North America) has a juice blend she mixes up and drinks – with one 2” beet, 1 Tbsp watercress, 2 stalks of celery, 1 med. Carrot and 2 cups purified or spring water.  If you have Reiki already – you can send Reiki into this mixture prior to chopping it at high speed in a blender.  If not, send love and kind thoughts into the mixture.  This blend is supposed to purify the blood and detoxify the liver, gallbladder and lungs – but caution should be used with it as it is a powerful detoxifier.  My Reiki Master, William Lee Rand recommends drinking small amounts and waiting for an hour or more to see how your body responds to it.  I drink this mixture occasionally – and it is powerful.  I can generally only drink about 1/3 of the mixture per day.

I look forward to sharing the gift of Reiki with you!

Just a quick note on how to get here.

From Fredericton, drive out the Kilarney Road until it meets Route 8.  Turn left or North toward Stanley, Boistown, Doaktown and stay on Route 8 until you reach the Durham Bridge.  Cross the bridge.  The road comes to a V or Y – take the left road – Route #628.  You will pass a small school called Nashwaak Valley Elementary School.  The Upper Durham Road is the first road to your right and is just after the elementary school. We are at #210 – there is a sign at the end of the driveway – and we have a large white tarp building – it is our riding arena.

OR from Fredericton, Moncton, St. Stephen, etc. you can take the new #8 highway from the Princess Margaret Bridge – the highway starts just before the turn off to Marysville.  Take the highway to the Lower Durham Road exit.  The Lower Durham Road is parallel to the Upper Durham Road.  So take a left from the exit and follow the Lower Durham to the end of the road.  You will see a community center/hall and our small rural post office at the end of the road.  Turn right at the end of the road, and take your next right onto Route #628.  You will pass a small school called Nashwaak Valley Elementary School.  The Upper Durham Road is the first road to your right and is just after the elementary school. We are at #210 – there is a sign at the end of the driveway – and we have a large white tarp building – it is our riding arena.

Finally, here is the google map link: Hidden Brook Farm
This is a farm, and there are dogs, cats, turkeys, chickens, horses – pretty much everywhere.  Well, the horses are usually in the field, but the birds, dogs, cats and children are free range.  So hopefully no-one has any allergies.  Most of the hair will be vacuumed up – but for those with sensitive allergies, I just like to mention the menagerie to ensure no-one is uncomfortable during the course.  Although the dogs are outside, the cats sometimes decide to join us.  They are very intuitive with the energy.

I look forward to sharing the gift of Reiki with you!
